SurvivorLAN 2007 v0.5 was a lot of fun and will help us plan SurvivorLAN Winter 2007/2008!

Thank you to all who participated.

We played until 5:30 AM. We were pretty tired by then so the final three (Silenc3, Heston, and Dunktank) agreed to split the winnings equally. The pot was just under $100, and each of the final three players received about $30.

However, we did have a mock final Tribal Council to determine the ultimate winner of SurvivorLAN 2007 v0.5.

We all assumed that Silenc3 would win individual immunity again playing Counter-Strike: Source, thereby giving him the choice of who he wanted to take to the final 2 with him. He chose Heston because he felt Heston was less of a threat going head to head in a deathmatch. If you are familiar with the reality TV show Survivor, it's at that point the power shifts to (what was left of) the jury, and the jury determines who will win and be the ultimate survivor.

After final arguments were made by the two remaining players to plead their case as to why the jury should vote to give them the winning title, the jury performed an open vote by the show of hands. All but one member of the jury voted for Heston. It was clear the jury appreciated Heston's character over Silenc3's trash talking, even though Silenc3 was a more skilled player in the final Counter-Strike: Source match-ups.<br><br>Post edited by: A_LITTLE_GIRL, at: 2007/04/09 15:51
